Florida State's quarterback E.J. Manuel returned to the locker room, accompanied by Florida State's trainers, in the third quarter with an injury.
Freshman quarterback Clint Trickett has taken Manuel's place on the field for the Seminoles. Trickett has played sparingly in Florida State's two blowout wins to start the year, completing seven of eight passes for 176 yards and three touchdowns.
Trickett, though, will facing a much tougher challenge against the top-ranked Oklahoma Sooners.
It's unknown how long Manuel will be sidelined for. Manuel was 13-of-19 passing for 85 yards and two interceptions prior to the injury. Manuel also rushed eight times for 49 yards.
The Seminoles currently trail Oklahoma 13-3 late in the third quarter.
