If there is a full 2011-12 NBA season, the Mavericks will play 30 of their 82 games on national TV. The highlights are their opener in Dallas against the Chicago Bulls on November 1, the opening night of the NBA season. The Mavericks figure to celebrate their NBA championship that night with their fans. They also get a coveted Christmas Day afternoon ABC slot against the Miami Heat, and they'll play twice more on ABC, as well as ten ESPN games and nine more TNT games. Their seven NBA TV games will also be considered national games.
The Mavs have a doozy of an open to their season, following the opener versus the Bulls with a trip to San Antonio and the first visit by the OKC Thunder. They also have a four-games-in-five-nights stretch at the end of the season, all on the road against west coast teams Golden State, LA Lakers, Portland and Utah.
