The Texas Longhorns finish their two-step with their neighbors to the north of the Red River 0-2 and out of the AP's latest Top 25 poll that was released this Sunday. The Oklahoma State Cowboys handed the Longhorns their second consecutive defeat in a 38-26 loss in Austin.
Baylor's annual duel between Texas A&M, known as The Battle of the Brazos, didn't end well as the Aggies hung 55 points on the pervious Bears defense. Career days by Ryan Tannehill (6 passing TD's) and Ryan Swope (206 receiving yards, coupled with Jeff Fuller becoming A&M's all-time leading receiver (2,615 yards) were too much for Art Briles' squad out of Waco.
Oklahoma and Oklahoma State stayed put in the rankings, while Kansas State (No. 12) and Texas A&M (No. 17) rose this week.
