Around SBN: NFL Roundtable: Which Draft Pick Is Most Likely To Bust?

Cowboys Sign Fourth Rounder Akwasi Owusu-Ansah

Todd Archer reports that the Cowboys have signed their third draft pick, safety Akwasi Owusu-Ansah.

But the question is when Owusu-Ansah will get on the field.

He did not take part in any off-season work because of shoulder surgery and he could be limited early in training camp. A cornerback at Indiana (Pa.), the Cowboys plan to use Owusu-Ansah at safety. He could also figure in as a return specialist.

Calvin Watkins has the terms:

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Owusu-Ansah accepted a four-year deal. He will earn base salaries of $320,000 (2010), $405,000 (2011), $490,000 (2012) and $575,000 (2013).

The club has first rounder Dez Bryant, second rounder Sean Lee, sixth rounder Jamar Wall, and supplemental seventh rounder Joshua Brent-Price still to sign.
