Dwayne Wade Does Have The Mavericks On His List

Stay connected for news and updates

SunSentinal.com reports that Dwayne Wade hopes to recruit other stars to join him in Miami, but if that fails, he does have a backup plan:

However that same source, as well as a party inside the league, told the Sun Sentinel that Wade also plans to cover himself during the initial days of the free-agency negotiating period by scheduling interviews with the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, and, in somewhat of a surprise, the Dallas Mavericks.

Dallas is the only one of the three teams that would have to involve a sign-and-trade to acquire Wade, but the trade route may be viable, and, as DallasBasketball.com says, Dallas has a nice complement for star perimeter player in Dirk Nowitzki.
